It is a simple procedure with minimal discomfort.

The treatment sessions are quick & non-invasive.

Often the results are very effective, with multiple sessions required, with best benefits usually seen between 3-7 treatments. 

Acne scarring laser treatments won’t always completely remove the acne scars but it can definitely reduce their visibility. 

* To better prepare for your treatment, clean and lightly exfoliate the area to be treated.

* No tanning, whether naturally, artificially or with a tanning bed, at least 2 weeks before your session.  

* Damaged or Sunburned skin cannot undergo laser treatments

In other instances, several treatments will be required.

Laser treatment can visibly reduce facial redness and skin discolouration caused by small dilated blood vessels.

An excessive build-up of melanocytes (skin cells containing melanin - our 'tanning' ability) causes the brownish spots and marks on your skin (known as skin pigmentation or hyperpigmentation.).

Pigmentation or hyperpigmentation may also be in the form of melasma, sun spots, age spots, or pigmented birthmarks on the face, arms, or legs. 

LASER produces a wavelength of high energy light which is then converted into heat energy which efficiently destroys cells containing pigmentation - all without damaging the surrounding healthy tissue.

Just like with tattoo removal, the laser targets the coloured areas under the skin, and blasts those areas into smaller micro-sized particles for easier elimination by the body. 

LASER treatment minimizes and eventually eliminates the appearance of pigmentation. It doesn’t have major side effects and takes little recovery time.

Any pigmentation removal treatment requires a pre-check with your skin care specialist or doctor to ensure that more serious conditions (like skin cancers) are not present or not masked from the laser treatment because of discolouration removal.

Skin Rejuvenation LASER treatment is a facial rejuvenation procedure that uses a laser to improve the skin's appearance or treat minor facial discolouration flaws. 

We choose to use Non-ablative LASERs within XORA clinics not only to  gently stimulate natural collagen growth, improve pores, remove irregular pigmentation and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, but to reduce unwanted side effects and complications.

Non-Ablative LASER. This is a non-wounding laser that stimulates collagen growth, which over time helps improve skin tone and texture. 

This approach can be done with various types of lasers as well as intense pulsed light (IPL) devices. Nonablative laser resurfacing is less invasive and requires less recovery time than does an ablative laser. 

There is little to no down time post-treatment, whilst it is less severe, it is also less effective than an ablative laser. All the lasers at Xora Health are non-ablative.

Whether to reduce wrinkles, pigmentation, pore size, acne or have smoother clearer & firmer more radiant looking skin, everybody's age, skin type and damage differs from person to person, so treatment amounts can vary significantly.

You will require several treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
