Laser skin revitalisation treatments use targeted and specific pulses of light to penetrate the skin’s layers.

The body’s natural healing process then rebuilds the collagen within the skin tissue, leaving you with a more even texture, skin tone and fewer wrinkles.

Depending on your individual requirements and the treatment used, some patients only need one treatment to see great results and achieve their desired outcome.

In other instances, several treatments will be required.

* Ensure to clean and exfoliate prior to each session

Laser treatment can visibly reduce facial redness and skin discolouration caused by small dilated blood vessels.

An excessive build-up of melanocytes (skin cells containing melanin - our 'tanning' ability) causes the brownish spots and marks on your skin (known as skin pigmentation or hyperpigmentation.).

Pigmentation or hyperpigmentation may also be in the form of melasma, sun spots, age spots, or pigmented birthmarks on the face, arms, or legs.

LASER produces a wavelength of high energy light which is then converted into heat energy which efficiently destroys cells containing pigmentation - all without damaging the surrounding healthy tissue.

Just like with tattoo removal, the laser targets the coloured areas under the skin, and blasts those areas into smaller micro-sized particles for easier elimination by the body.

LASER treatment minimizes and eventually eliminates the appearance of pigmentation. It doesn’t have major side effects and takes little recovery time.

Any pigmentation removal treatment requires a pre-check with your skin care specialist or doctor to ensure that more serious conditions (like skin cancers) are not present or not masked from the laser treatment because of discolouration removal.

LASER vs RF - what's the difference?

How do LASER Treatments work

What is a Radio frequency Treatment

What is a Radio frequency Treatment

LASERS use light to target the tissue, and penetrates the skins surface layers, and is effective in combating wrinkles, and skin irregularities such as pigmentation or acne scars.

It assists with reducing the effects of aging

and promotes skin tightening & lifting.

A Pico-Second LASER is used for your maximum safety and treatment benefits.

There is  little to no down time with these treatments.

You may experience a little redness for a brief period directly post treatment. (depending on the type of treatment)

What is a Radio frequency Treatment

What is a Radio frequency Treatment

What is a Radio frequency Treatment

RF  is a very comfortable treatment, and uses wavelength energy to heat specific layers of the skin which is how collagen production can be targeted, helping to improve the skin tone and structure.

Used for such things as blemish removal, skin rejuvenation and tightening.

It is a milder treatment than LASER,

as the sub layers of the skin are targeted.

There is no down time with Radio Frequency treatments.

⚠️ Important Treatment Information

At Xora Health, we are committed to delivering high-quality laser treatments using advanced technology and expert care. However, as with any cosmetic or dermatological procedure, individual results can vary—and there are some infrequent but possible risks that clients should be aware of.

While uncommon, potential side effects of using any laser may include:

  • Temporary redness, swelling, or mild discomfort

  • Dryness, flaking or small scabs as the skin heals

  • Changes in pigmentation such as temporary darkening or lightening (hypo- or hyperpigmentation)

  • In rare cases, visible contrast between treated and untreated skin

These effects are generally temporary and improve as the skin heals. We take great care to minimise risk through a personalised approach based on your skin type and response to treatment.

Your safety and satisfaction are our priority.
We recommend following all pre- and post-treatment care instructions carefully, and we encourage open communication about your progress during the healing process.

If you have any concerns after treatment, please contact us directly so we can support your recovery and make adjustments as needed.

Laser can Not be used over any tattoo! (unless you want the tattoo removed!)

The laser being used for hair removal is attracted to the pigment in the hair and hair follicles, which absorbs the laser energy. It destroys the follicles to stop the regrowth of the hair.

Hair removal laser works best on pale skin with no tanning or sunburns or tattoos.

Since tattoos are also stored as a pigment in our skin, the laser gets attracted to the ink and can lead to damaging consequences through the excessive production of heat.

It can not only become painful but also cause burns, fading or even distortion of the body art.
